Sam McGee

This was one of the snow sculpture entries this year for Rendezvous Days in Whitehorse. This is a depiction of Sam McGee from the Robert Service poem 'The Cremation of Sam McGee', which is well worth reading if you like a good laugh. It's about a fella from Tennessee who comes up to the Yukon in the goldrush, but can't stand the cold, so he makes his buddy promise to cremate him when he dies..
